Too / Enough






Too

Significa “também”. Aparece no final de orações após vírgulas.

Eg: I lived in London and Sarah did, too
       You need to study meteorology, too

Significa “muito, em excesso, demais”. Antecede adjetivos.
Eg: Caroline is too short. She looks like a dwarf
      Mary lives too far. Let’s get the plane.


Enough

Significa o “bastante, o suficiente”. Usado:

Antes de substantivos:
Eg: I have enough money to buy a new car.
      He has enough intelligence to be the capitain.

Após adjetivo
Eg: I don’t think Lu is old enough to get married.
       We had too many trouble in this flight.
